This was taken near the entrance to the Giza Plateau. Actually, it was our exit. The Mena House is on the other side of the complex so we did the typical tour in reverse order. I liked doing it this way because this saved the "creme de la creme"--the view of the Sphinx in front of the pyramids--for last! We then drove the short distance to our hotel in about 45-minutes! Cairo traffic is CRAZY and SLOW!
